Protest at the Tory Conference – Leeds

Hundreds of protestors gathered outside the Queens Hotel in Leeds today after marching into the City from Woodhouse Square.  The rally and march was organised in protest against the Annual Local Government Conference which was taking place inside the hotel. 

The demonstrators called on Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Eric Pickles, not to slash any more services and jobs. 
He was meeting with councillors from across the country to discuss a new round of cuts and privatisation.
