Demonstration - Sheffield Town Hall, Friday, 4th March 2011

7 Feb 2011

This is the day when Councillors will be asked to vote to implement the most far reaching cuts to services the people of Sheffield will have ever seen.  Make no mistake, the cuts will impact on every person in Sheffield, with the most vulnerable being hit the hardest. Proposals to close three old people’s homes make this abundantly clear.  This is your opportunity to make it clear to the Lib Dem Council and the ConDem National Coalition Government that the people of Sheffield will not stand idly by whilst services are attacked.

There is an alternative strategy, a strategy which would protect jobs and services but the Lib Dems will not listen.  The Rally will take place outside

Sheffield Town Hall on Friday, 4 March 2011 between 12.00pm – 2.00pm.

Guest speakers will be in attendance.

Remember that anybody on flexible working will be able to attend during this period.  Please make every effort to attend and to encourage your friends to do so as well.
