The election for our General Secretary and Treasurer will take place over the coming weeks.  This is clearly an important election which will determine who will lead the union for the next five years.

We have arranged therefore, two hustings events which will give all activists and members an opportunity to hear from and to question both candidates, who are Tim Roache and Kathleen Walker Shaw.  The events are as follows:

Tea & coffee will be available at both hustings from 6.45pm.

Please note that the Leeds event will be filmed and screened on the appropriate union sites as required by the election bylaws.  Cath Pinder our Regional President will chair both events.
