In August, manufacturing workers at Denso Marston Ltd in West Yorkshire voted overwhelmingly to take strike action for the first time since the factory had opened in Baildon.
Following the ballot result in August, two days of strike action in September and ongoing negotiations, GMB members have voted and won a pay increase of 9.5% to be backdated to April.
GMB Organiser, Lou Foster-Wilson, said:
“This is a well-deserved win for our members whose determination and resolve has been tremendous.
“Following years of low pay awards and against the backdrop of heightened inflation, GMB members at Denso came together for the first time to demand better, and won.
“This win represents another GMB victory against pay erosion in our manufacturing industry."
