Public and ambulance workers deserve better, says GMB Union

Rachel Harrison, GMB national secretary said:

“Ambulance workers do the job because they care deeply for people. The government’s failings mean that they can't.

“We have tried everything to raise pay, the issue that is causing this dispute, but the government will not listen and will not talk.

“Ambulance workers – and the public – deserve better.

“The government needs to talk pay now.”
