Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend for Amazon is coming up pretty quickly and it will give us another unique opportunity to target Amazon fulfillment centres, HQ’s, and other Amazon facilities to shine a light on the shocking working conditions and practices.

Over the last couple of years we have had enormous outreach both to Amazon workers, policy makers, politicians, print and digital media with our actions and activities around Black Friday.

We will be linking into the TUC regional networks as well as other activist groups who are interested in helping us on this day.  Internationally, GMB will also be linking up with the ITUC/UniGlobal on outreach activities, and press and media.

Interest in Amazon is building again, with a number of requests for press quotes and interviews already in the last couple of weeks as the build up to Black Friday takes place.

Our Southern Team plan to target the Amazon Flex depot in Sheffield on Friday 29th November between 7.30am and 9.30am.  The address is: Colliery Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S4 8AQ.
