Industrial action is extended as directors fail to make a reasonable pay offer.
Where: Dalton Airfield Industrial Estate, Thirsk, YO7 3JN
When: Monday 5 June, 11am
On Monday Severfield shift workers will march together to demand a fair pay rise.
Following four days of rock solid industrial action hundreds of workers at Severfield will take to the streets on Monday urging the company management make a serious offer to resolve the dispute.
Workers are extending their industrial action to include a further nine strike days.
Ben Kirkham, GMB Organiser said:
"Hundreds of highly skilled workers are taking their call for a decent pay offer directly to the company.
"By marching on mass to the front doors we will be sending a clear message to the directors that we are ready to work for a fair wage.
"With our strikes holding strong, and nine more days of action now in the diary Severfield seniors need to realise that we are not going to roll over."
The march will begin at 11am and will be followed by speeches.
